I’ve always done art and when I started college it was an easy decision to go for an art major, specifically a BFA in Studio Painting & Drawing from the University of North Texas. I started doing permanent makeup in 2003 which later helped me to get my formal apprenticeship in 2009 in Perth Australia at Abandoned Art. At the time, I was tattooing full time and was able to be booked out as much as a week to two weeks in advance even as an apprentice thanks to a great shop.

I’m married to my best friend Cookie and we have a Lutino cockatiel named Squeaker, a tuxedo cat named Smudgey and cream colored French Bulldog named Sunny. We also co-own Rebel Muse Tattoo Lewisville & Rebel Muse Tattoo Dallas with our good friends Dave & Ellen Mushaney.
