FAQ

If we have an artist available and your tattoo idea is suitable for a walk-in style tattoo, absolutely! Walk-ins are on a first-come-first-served basis. We do recommend calling ahead to see if we have any artists open on that day. Not all tattoo ideas are suitable for walk-ins, but our staff are happy to advise if an appointment is needed.

Email us or give us a call at 972-420-9666 for our Lewisville location or 972-677-7571 for our Dallas location.

Consultations are always free! If you have a tattoo idea and would like to know more about which artist it is best suited to and an estimate on price, the best bet is to come in for a consult. From there, our friendly staff will chat with you and pair you with the right artist for the job. That artist can then tell you more about their process and give you an accurate price quote and details on their availability. If you’d like to set up a consultation with a specific artist and you’re not sure how to contact them, please give us a call during business hours.

The price of your tattoo will depend on many factors including size, placement, and detail. As each tattoo and client is different.

We can’t give you an accurate price quote over the phone. If you live within the DFW area, we encourage you to come visit us in person!

To guarantee an appointment spot, we do require a deposit for all artists. Our deposits are non-refundable and are deducted off of the price of the completed tattoo. The deposit amount will depend on the size and overall cost of your tattoo, as well as the time taken to complete it.

No. We will not tattoo any person under 18 years of age as per Texas State Law.

Pain levels during a tattoo will depend on several different factors, some being the size and location of the tattoo, individual pain tolerance, and artist techniques. Some people notice only a very slight discomfort, while others may report more intense pain in areas such as ribs or feet. Whatever the area, it’s rare that a client will find the pain unbearable and our artists will do everything they can to make you as comfortable as possible.

No, we care about you and your baby and will not tattoo you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Yes, our minimum charge is $150. You may notice our minimum charge is slightly higher than some other shops. A tattoo is permanent and although more expensive doesn’t always mean better, we don’t recommend looking for a “deal” when it comes to your tattoo. Our artists take great care with each and every tattoo they do. We want to make sure that only the best products are used for your tattoo, our artists are not rushed, and an adequate amount of time is allowed to make design adjustments and to explain aftercare. We feel that $150 is a fair minimum for the high quality of our work and care taken by each artist at our studio.

For small to medium size tattoos that will be completed in one session, we can generally give you an outright quote. Sometimes for larger tattoos, our artists work off an hourly rate, this may slightly differ from artist to artist. Some of our artists also work off of a day rate. We will always discuss pricing with you before starting a project.

We accept cash or credit!

We do not offer either of these services. Just doing tattoos allows us to focus on what we’re best at and give it everything we’ve got! If you’d like a recommendation for a good body piercer or laser tech, give us a call!

Your new tattoo is all finished and looking awesome. Now all that’s left to do is show it off right? Wrong! What you do over the next few weeks will determine how well your tattoo heals and ultimately how the finished product looks for years to come. At Rebel Muse we sell a full range of aftercare products that are highly tested and created specifically for tattoos. After your tattoo appointment, we will give you an aftercare instruction sheet, as well as verbally explain how to take care of your new ink.

Keep your tattoo looking great by protecting it from sun exposure. If you are going to be in the sun, use a high-quality sunblock and always avoid getting your tattoo sunburned. Other than that, a daily high-quality lotion will help keep your skin healthy and your tattoo looking good! Having a well-balanced diet, drinking plenty of water and regular exercise can help as well. The healthier you are yourself, and the better you take care of your skin, the longer your tattoo will stay looking great.
